I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Manpower (Amsterdam)
Interview
First, I was called into the Amsterdam office, which is three hours from my home, and it cost me around 75 euros to travel there and back. Halfway to the interview location, they told me that the interview was not scheduled because the recruiter had forgotten about it. When I explained my situation, they made time for me, which was appreciated, but the person conducting the interview seemed to be in a rush, and overall, it felt strange. They also didn't look at my CV properly and made assumptions about my previous roles. In the end, they hired someone internally.

I had a great experience with the interview process. It began with a phone interview, which was followed by a second-round virtual interview via Microsoft Teams. Both interviews were well-organized, and the communication was clear throughout. Shortly after completing both rounds, I received an offer — the turnaround was impressively quick. Overall, the process was efficient, respectful, and made me feel valued as a candidate
