I was able to talk with a hiring manager, which was great, but the first thing I was told was that the interviewer did not have the time to go through my resume or LinkedIn previously, so I could tell that I was not going to get a very personal interview. He asked me to talk about my resume, since he hadn't read it, and so I had an opportunity to talk a bit about myself (which is always good). But after that there were a lot of very uninteresting, pre-canned questions that were read from a list. Very basic things that appeared on every aerospace engineer's homework assignments at one time or another. I did ok with some of them, but was somewhat bewildered by the unimportance of the questions.
