Given 1.5 advanced notice. Thought was an informal conversation about the role. Turns out, I get 4 people, Indian, whole don't introduce themselves or their role, or turn on their video camera.
2 minutes into it, the female asking where I live. (I was told this a remote hybrid, 2 days a week in the office in Kennesaw) She then informs me, it's on-site in NYC. So that was a waste of time. Her and another drop off. One guy says, well maybe let's interview you anyway, and see if we can't put your skills to use. Come to find out, at their company side they password locked my resume, so he had never read my resume. Knows I haven't working in AWS Cloud for past 2.5-3 years, then got my certification this year, but starts asking if I did this or that... things not on my resume. Guess what, everything I've done on AWS Cloud was carefully crafted into that resume. So if you don't see it, I haven't done that thing yet. But with 30 years in IT, there have been thousands of things, I hadn't done, until I did them. So, they couldn't wrap their heads around, the reality is I can do anything, have done so many things, but can't do everything.
