Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) seeks a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our IT department. This position performs advanced technical data processing work involving the development, enhancement, and maintenance of highly complex computer applications. This role is responsible for assessing user requirements, translating logical designs into effective technical solutions, designing and implementing system applications, and managing projects from conception through installation. Work is performed under limited supervision and requires a high level of independent judgment, technical expertise, and collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications:

Post-secondary education in a computer-related field with 2 years of experience OR 5 years of experience OR any combination of relevant education and experience.
Preferred qualifications:

ORACLE development experience; experience with SQL or PL/SQL; MS Access/Word/Excel; UNIX
Salary: Begins at $76,599 if annualized (includes a 13% premium for this position)
