Pros

Sympathetic coworkers all in the same boat with you, looking for a new job. A small paycheck with increasingly larger insurance deductions and lessening coverage.

Cons

No accountability in management, mandatory price increases annually that are undisclosed at contract signings, working on everything whether trained or not, using USED or GENERIC parts, manager releases personal information and is unaccountable, should have a welfare application included with job offer for service techs.

Pros

They seem nice when you start. If you like nightmares about work and especially around the holidays working six days a week for ten hours a day you'll fit right in. You get promoted for not quitting or being fired.

Cons

See above. You can see in a week or two who the in crowd is and who is suffering until they can get out.

While there are a lot of folks here that disagree with your comments, we still want to thank you for taking the time to write this review and remind us of the importance of being a good listener and sharing feedback. We truly care about each and every person that chooses to spend their days (and sometimes nights and weekends) with us to help make this a GREAT place to work and a GREAT place to be a customer. Obviously, we were not meeting your needs or expectations and you chose to move on and pursue other opportunities so we want to wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Corporate leadership cares about their employees on a personal level. The president of the company strives to know everyone by name. Sales has an opportunity to make presidents club, quarterly bonuses and other promos. Management does not typically micromanage.

Cons

The culture is quickly changing for the worse. Very negative environment and management is not encouraging. Nothing is ever good enough. Base salary is low and the commissions typically pay less than 10% on average. Very few general territory reps make over $65,000. Territories are generally small and copier contract generally last 5 years so don't rely on having a sale every week.

Thank you for sharing your pros and cons regarding working at ComDoc. You note that you've been here for 3 years so congratulations. We know that this can be the toughest time for any type of sales rep and it takes a lot of grit and determination to power through. There are ups and downs throughout the sales cycle and that not every encounter ends in a sale. We also understand the power of the dollar and that everyone needs to make a living. We might not always be the highest paying employer and we do offer a fair pay structure along with other perks such as bonus opportunities, community involvement, commissions, education, training, work/life flexibility and benefits. As you know, openness to feedback is one of our core belief's. Done professionally and properly, it can lead to some amazing things. I would encourage you to talk with your manager and share your thoughts on how else they might deliver information, both good and bad. What a gift that could be for the entire group and an opportunity to show how much you care. Thank you again.
