Pros

- Good colleagues - Some people rise fast - Some interesting roles

Cons

- A huge amount of bodyshopping - long term roles that are not consultancy - Lots of people are over-sold when they join but very few are promoted in less than a year - There is a huge link between time on a single project and promotion. Don't join if you want short-term strategic/advice engagements - politics will get in the way of your progression

Thank you for your contribution. Over the last few months we have undergone the effort to critically assess our performance management process and understand what works best in each region. We have refined our processes to align with Global benchmark standards and we are prepared to roll out the new process for 2017. In addition to our performance management process, we have done the same to redefine our recruitment process. We want to ensure that we are bringing in top talent that is fitting to our focused Market Offerings.

Pros

Capco has a friendly culture where people like to win together. A solid meritocracy that is expertise focused, and growth oriented with approachable leaders and plenty of opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Employees should be self-motivated (which for me is a plus), but being a smaller company it does lack clear and standard documentation routines. There is no one-size fits all career map, which allows self-starters to succeed and rise quickly in the organization.
