Good way to get into the financial industry - don't stay too long though - Customer Service Representative TD Employee Review

Pros

Great place to start a banking career, they'll hire newbies especially if you have sales experience or are outgoing. Paid time off seems very reasonable although it includes all time rolled into one (they don't separate sick time, holiday time, etc). Benefits are fairly good but price creeps up each year. Great match program on the 401k. Obtainable mini promotions (asst head teller, senior csr, etc). You can leverage this to a new bank after a short while.

Cons

In the retail area the pay is definitely below industry average, lots of sales pressure and they are quick to hire from outside the company rather than within, the best way to get promoted is to leave your department and transfer to a new one to climb the pay scale, but that doesn't seem practical. You wind up having tellers and CSRs that are 19 and know more than the new incoming manager or asst manager. I don't understand that! And no pension for new employees.

Pros

The only way I could do that was if you had to do a lot more work and then you would be done by yourself so you would be fine yuyyy

Cons

The only way I could do this would probably take about two 2️⃣ hours or less of a break and a few
