I have been working at InComm full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity to learn in various departments, flexible/stable at times, HR tries to create company wide things to look forward to.

    Cons

Some Directors and higher ups that are clueless to what the bottom line does.
A lot of broken tools that are required for use day to day. Usually a revolving bandage is used as permanent solution.
Mulitple untrained employees that lack knowledge in their roles to promote productivity and it's embraced without change.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue. Take responsibility for your employees being equipped to perform job responsibilities.

I have been working at InComm full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Location is good and office is nice. Benefits are decent and people are friendly.

    Cons

Lot of people in upper management have horrible attitudes and treat anyone below like a servant. They tell lies and manipulate any situation to get their way.

    Advice to Management

Clean house and get rid of those VPs and Directors who can’t mangage or train a team. Hire people who can develop careers and offer learning that’s relevant to a persons position. The high turn over is a result of poor management.

    Pros

Once you're in and have passed probation, it is pretty hard to get fired. as long as you're performing and dont ruffle the wrong feathers your job is fairly secure

    Cons

once you're in and have passed probation, it is pretty hard to get fired. you have employees walking around who abuse their power or their connection to power. there is a lot of hostility by certain groups towards others within the organization. and rarely are the conflicts rooted in true issues with work. instead, certain individuals use their personal feelings towards other to create and continue chaos in the work place. management is fully aware and it seems as if this type of behavior is rewarded.

I have been working at InComm full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - You are given a chance to prove yourself as an employee to management
    - Micro managing does not occur - perform your work and continue to expand your knowledge of the business and you will succeed
    - Learning different platforms and programs may not be for everyone but to some they are easily grasped (ask questions and you will receive help - do not pretend as if you know something - this will result in more work for everyone else)
    - The managers door is always open and the COO knows everyones name and greets them every morning
    - There are supervisors who really listen and allow you to voice your opinion
    - Managers/Supervisors understand family emergencies
    - Work is not overwhelming - be organized and priortize your work well and you will succeed
    - Many employees are a pleasure to work with
     - Once you establish a relationship with merchants/third parties/coworkers from different locations, they will depend on you and trust in you
    - This is a 24 hour business - the day hours are great - it all depends what an employee is looking for but there are three shifts - day, afternoon and night
    - Employees are required to work holidays around peak season (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve) but you will receive holiday pay
    - Casual attire is allowed

    Cons

    - Communication needs to improve within the departments and within each team
    - Favoritism needs to stop
    - There are employees who perform minimum work and get away with it whereas other employees who work ten times harder and come in on their days off are not even recognized for employee of the month
    - The training has been improved but employees personalize their own way of doing their work (for example: the lack of professional etiquette in composing emails)
    - Some people will attempt to sink you if you perform a mistake
    - The connectivity issues and IT issues in general hardly improve
    - Foul language/profanity is common in regular conversations between co-workes which is distracting and not professional
    - Some employees have been hired due to someone knowing them but they are not qualified for the job and tend to create more work for other employees

    Advice to Management

There are employees who just come in for a paycheck and not to improve the company as a whole. Even if they have been employed for years, they hold that advantage above their heads and expect to be honored. They show no productivity and make excuses for their lack of work. These employees need to be re-evaluated.

    Pros

Mostly Nice Employees & Better Than Average Pay

    Cons

Absolutely Zero Ground Level Support for hires that are told it is an "entry level position." It's not and it's clearly sink or swim/meat factory mentality where it either works out or it doesn't. Would be much better if they simply classified positions as mid-level, since the pay is practically mid-level.

    Advice to Management

Create a better support system for your new hires.

I have been working at InComm full-time

    Pros

Big. Even during the great depression they've given modest raises.

    Cons

Big. Current owner is not interested anymore. Management is only interested in bottom line. All their raises, even during great years, are extremely modest even for their hardest workers.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees (again) and they'll give you great innovation and bring more quality & customers to the business. Using trickle down theory but in reverse. Value your employees and they'll value your customers in return which ultimately leads to better value which in turn leads to better ROI.
