I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dollar General (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Interview
Interviewer rescheduled once, than was late arriving with no call or apology. Very unprofessional.
The crux of the entire interview was on theft, primarily employee theft. Seems this company only hires thieves! The greater concentration seems to be on employee theft, then shoplifting. There was a short sidebar on truck receiving and processing.
You will get a call from the DM go in for the interview and they’ll let you know if you’ve been hired or not. It was an easy process I applied and within a week I received a phone call for an interview.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Dollar General (Erlanger, KY) in Mar 2022
Interview
My soon to be DM was very kind and very blunt and to the point about what would be expected of me, however she did not mention some very key things like.... 60- 80 our weeks every week, what would be my 1 1/2. Days off. Which i didnt get most weeks, and that most stores were overstocked and understaffed. Im sure she meant well. She was very professional and very company minded.
I had three interviews. One with Human Resources. One with the district manager. And one with the regional director. Overall it took 3 weeks to complete the interviewing process. Not very convienient and time consuming
