I applied online and was contacted by the AP District Manager maybe 1 week later. He asked me some questions then had a Store Manager contact me to set up an interview. I interviewed with the store manager maybe 20-30 minutes. I then interviewed with the APDM the next day for maybe an hour, not really an interview more like a conversation with a few questions thrown in.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kmart (Silver Spring, MD)
Interview
Pretty standard. Formal interview. May have a second interview depending on how the market is set up. I had the fortune of meeting both my zone manager and my market manager during my interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kmart (Chambersburg, PA) in Jun 2016
Interview
The human resource representative called me on the phone and did a 30 minute interview. I did not apply for the job, my resume was submitted by a recruiter. I knew I wasn't a good fit for the job. I only agreed to the interview for the practice. She asked me about my resume, my time with Sears as a loss prevention associate and whether I had experience in a distribution center. I really did not have the qualifications she was looking for other than a Bachelor's Degree.
