I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Lobster in Jan 2019
Interview
Heard about the job through a friend of mine who worked there. I applied online and followed up about 1- 2 weeks later. They told me everything was great except my availability ( I put that specific availability because that’s what my friend said they were hiring for) I told them that I could actually work more and they asked me to come in for an interview. The interview started late but the manager was really sweet. She first asked again about my availability and I told her. We went through the entire interview (45 min) and began negotiating pay, talking about required uniform, and telling me the specific things that I’d be doing. She then told me that they had just hired someone who had completely open availability so they were unable to hire me but they’d let me know if something freed. Kind of a waste of time since they already knew my availability but told me if anything at all changed I’d be the first they’d call.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Red Lobster (Gilbert, AZ)
Interview
This location has very friendly staff that wants you to succeed! Stopped by and got an informal interview since the manager was absent! Definitely recommend them for the interview process.
It was rather intuitive. They ask about your work experience and then proceed to ask about the hardest moments in your working portfolio and how you overcame it. Be steadfast and deliberate with your responses.
Very easy process the manager was really nice and very direct about the duties the job requires. I also really liked the environment. The GM also comes to interview you as well.
