I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Macon, GA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Very brief and easy. No hard questions, they were all situational. HR Coordinator was very friendly and managers were pleasant. First interviewed by assistant manager and then store manager. I applied and within a week I got a call asking to be interviewed. They went over my application and verified everything I listed on it was still accurate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you dealt with a difficult customer?
Easy. Laid back process. Was called for interview right away. Was offered job on the spot. Really nice people to work for. I did not accept the job. Pay was not enough
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Phoenix, AZ) in Jul 2018
Interview
Formal interview and standard corporate questionnaire style conversation during the one on one in person interview. Experience and expectations were discussed as was salary. However, even though they were in desperate need of my employment, having to go through the infinite corporate red tape from the home office in Arkansas took over 3 weeks from interview to actual hire, and I have no issues on a background check or drug test.
