I applied online. I interviewed at Stripe in Sep 2015
Interview
The recruiter who interviewed me made me feel like I had to defend myself in a way that made me very uneasy, as if it was a complete shock that I would even apply to the role with not much recruiting experience in the past. That being said, I felt that my experience would translate well to the RC position. The person placed emphasis on Stripe's desire to find a culture fit by getting to know the candidate, but told me I may not be right after only talking for about 15 minutes. Overall, the phone call was very uncomfortable.

Had a brief 30 minute "behavioral" phonically interview. A couple days later I got an email saying they were not moving forward. I did not get any real feedback on why I was not selected to move on to the next round.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Stripe (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied through the stripe site and was contacted within a few days to set up an interview through a scheduling tool- the interviewer ended up having to reschedule just prior to our meeting, but we did finally connect.
Initial interview was pretty basic with general questions, the interviewer was personable and gave me a take home test consisting of composing answers to a series of emails to be completed in three business days.
I was not able to submit my test to the link provided as it was no longer active after 1 day, so I emailed it to the recruiter as indicated if there were issues submitting and have not heard from them since.
Stripe seemed like an interesting place to work, but the recruiting process leaves a bit to be desired.
