Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Quality Control/Technical Writer and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and clear, precise documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with exceptional communication skills, supporting manufacturing processes through detailed quality control procedures and comprehensive technical documentation. You will be instrumental in maintaining product integrity, streamlining quality assurance workflows, and creating user-friendly comprehensive documentation that adheres to quality standards and facilitates operational excellence.
Duties
- Ability to record production process for a wide variety of parts, from lamination to assembly and finishing.
- Perform thorough quality checks on finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to gather information and ensure technical accuracy on fiberglass parts.
- Update established SOP’s when processes change
- Utilize Microsoft 365 tools effectively to create and manage documents and spreadsheets.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all communications and interactions with team members and customers.
- Assist in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of quality control processes including but not limited to non-conforming product (NCP), quality corrective actions, and in process inspections.
- Ensure established quality control processes are being followed by auditing production.
- Identify root causes of quality issues and support implementation of corrective / preventative actions
- Collecting quality data including end of line inspection results and monitoring trends in the data
- Provide quality control support for production staff
-Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand processes and translate complex technical information into accessible documentation
-Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting process changes, quality issues, and corrective actions
