Amentum is seeking Cleared Software Developer to join our team in Washington, DC, supporting one of the nation’s premier law enforcement agencies. Our mission provides enterprise cloud services and leverages SCRUM and SAFE Agile software development methodology and strong Dev Ops practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop code, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software
• Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
• Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Assist in development of software user manuals
• Desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates
• Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance, or TS with SCI Eligibility
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field plus 8 years of experience in full-stack development; experience considered in lieu of degree
• Front-end skills: JavaScript (ES6 and higher), React, Tailwind CSS, Material UI; RESTful design and principles
• Backend skill: NodeJS / NestJS / NextJS, Express, Npm (node package manager), Go language, Java 8, SOAP services, Maven and Gradle

Development Tools:

• Git source version control
• Jira project management
• Static Application Security Testing (SAST, e.g. SonarQube, Gitlab SAST)
• Unit and integration testing (e.g., jest, mocha, chai)
• Jira, Confluence

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
