Our Test team is tasked with test planning, test scenario design, test case development, and test automation suite development to assess and improve the overall quality of our products. The role encompasses influencing product design by leveraging the wide knowledge of the product portfolio, continuous improvement using a keen eye for system performance, scalability aspects, and ensuring that a quality-first mindset is instituted within our development practices. Also, automation of complex tests that mimic customer environments and workloads to ensure performance and scalability baselines.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering, who will help you excel in your role. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, requiring employees to be in the office for 3 days a week, promoting a balance between collaborative in-person work and remote flexibility. This setup allows for team bonding and knowledge sharing while also respecting individual preferences for remote work.

Your Role
We are looking for passionate Senior Engineers and highly motivated individuals who can own the end-to-end quality of the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) Product. This includes having a clear understanding of the business requirements, preparing comprehensive test plans, developing, executing, and automating test scenarios based on the test plans, handing over the automated scripts to the regression team, and providing support in maintaining the scripts in an agile environment.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the System and performance of the NKP product and its integration with Prism Central services.
Measure Product quality in terms of stress, scalability, high availability, and usability of the product features
What You Will Bring
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related stream is required.
Understanding of APIs & Cloud Infrastructures services is a plus.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 148,000 and USD $ 296,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
