I worked at DHG full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Company partners and managers are very easy to work with. They will take the time to help develop your skills. The company also has a good mix of client industries and type of engagements including manufacturing, dealerships, insurance as well as closely held businesses. Admin team members are also very kind and helpful as well.

    Cons

Busy tax season, but it is expected. They do provide various benefits including stipends and flexibility to work from home.

  6. "This company is a scam (NY office) - all the reviews are fake, they make you leave a 5-star review as part of appraisal"

I worked at DHG full-time for less than a year

    Pros

None - this firm is a big SCAM (NY office)

    Cons

I can write a million of things that are wrong with this company (again, I am referring to NY Office). They lie when they hire you that you can work on a multiple interesting projects and you can transfer from a project to a project - it's all a bog lie, they struggle to get clients and the few projects they have are low-tier mundane exhausting hours type of work that's on top of that mismanaged by unprofessional toxic managers. Once you start, it's slavery with abusive managers (bc all the normal people leave and given the psychotic set-up that's created and the nature of back-office low-value added work where clients do not respect the firm or people who work there (bc of the way the firm operates by the NY-based partners that rule it who cannot get good clients bc they're incompetent and don't have good rep in the industry - so they have to settle for 3rd tier mediocre left-over projects/clients that no other respectable consulting firm wants to take on, that's reflected in the corresponding level of treatment of DHG's employees) no self-respected manager level professional person wants to stay there for too long. As for the consultant/senior & lead consultant level - they hire and fire employees on an industrial scale basis. They just lure you in to use your resume and talent to bid for clients, then they dispose of you or pigeon hole you into low quality back-office lower-tier long-hours type of work. Hypocrisy rules from above all the way down. Consultants and Sr / Lead Consultants are actually nice professional people, but majority are terrified to lose their job to speak up, bc they instantaneously get fired if they do. The only people who survive and move forward are the ones who agree to close their eyes and fit in within the toxic culture.

I worked at DHG full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Transparency on ability to promote/compensation you could receive at different levels. PTO, healthcare, dental, maternity leave, and professional development.

    Cons

They were too strict with promotions. No matter how well you performed, if you did not have x amount of years with the company, you could not advance. Even when out performing your peers
