Interview
apply online, they will call for interview. Store manager will interview you first, then district manager, sometimes they both will hold the interview at the same time. they will ask typical questions, but also automotive knowledge. They may place you in a different city than what you originally applied for, but they will put you where needed so long as you agree.

Question 1
there really isn't any unexpected question, they basically get down to the point. They may ask you automotive knowledge, but it is not required to have any, so you don't need to know the answers.
I applied online. I interviewed at AutoZone (Adairsville, GA) in Sep 2025
Interview
It lasted about an hour total. Asked a lot of the same questions, just laid out different. Felt that everything was going well, until another, regular employee jumps in the interview. I felt 100 percent I had the job, was even asked a uniform size. It all just went downhill from there.

Question 1
A whole lot of them were asked. Mostly what I did in certain situations.
Extremely easy and well put together. The employees who put on the job fair had it all laid out well and gave me plenty of opportunity to sell myself for the position. They were super friendly as well!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AutoZone (Cincinnati, OH)
Interview
If you pass the online portion which is more about ethics than skill, you're in. Commercial isn't easy to break into unless you've done this sort of thing, or sadly... are an attractive woman.
