I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Marriott International (Pensacola, FL) in May 2017
Interview
I applied to be a bartender, since I was comfortable in that field. I did really well in it they asked if I'd be interested in anything else. I said of course so I now work the front desk and fill in at the bar once in a while. I really like interacting with people. I know this area really well so my manager now makes a joke that I'm the restaurant ambassador for this area.
I interviewed at Marriott International (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)
Interview
One interview, but took 3 weeks to hear back then another month until my training class which was basically just the heads of a few departments flexing on themselves for 2 days
It was a great interview. Straight to the point but at the same time comfortable. Unfortunately, I did not get the position but I made it to the final round.
I interviewed at Marriott International (Nashville, TN)
Interview
I was interviewed by Human Resources by phone. We had a great connection, and she was very professional, courteous, and followed up like she said she would. I was impressed.
