I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2013
Interview
Everything was great up until the District Manager Interview. I applied in the San Diego area for the MTP program and got to meet with employees from around the county. You start off with a 25 minute phone interview about workplace scenarios that is really easy and friendly. Then you go to the Store Visit where the zstore manager takes you around and essentially shows you a day in the life of an employee. Ask questions. Again, very relaxed. Then you have to call your recruiter tofollow up on how it went. Last step is the District Manager. Now this DM said that he was "the chillest DM around the nation." Yet, he blatantly broke an interview rule by asking me how old I was!? Rediculous. He's lucky I didn't make an issue of it at the time, but clearly, the DM messed up. Not to mention, the DM started off the interview with "Are you nervous?," when clearly, I wasn't. Puzzling. Overall, it was good, but the DM's disrespect and unprofressionalism ruined an overall good impression of this company.
Very communicative and upfront about everything. Process is very simple as you go step by step. Has 3 stages when I participated in it. They are big on questions so feel free to ask them and bring them.

Interview
the interviewer didn't really care and was on the phone during the interview and made me wait over a month just to hear from them to schedule an interview. when I showed up the person didn't remember me and only asked me questions about personal life and not much about the job.
