I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Burbank, CA) in Dec 2009
Interview
Pretty standard process. One interview at school followed by a "Super Saturday" type day at their offices. 4 people interviewed, I am the only one who received an offer to my knowledge. Some technical questions about portfolio theory etc. but nothing too complicated. Met with about 8 people including the Pension Fund Head and the Head of Corporate Treasury.
The process was smooth, applied, and was reached out to by an HR person, and a scheduled initial screening interview was conducted. Then moved onto the next stage, where you meet the hiring manager and another HR person.
I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Initial recruiter call, in person interview. The important thing is to show you love Disney. They can teach sales, they can't teach a love of the IP. They'll ask you to roleplay selling a vacation.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2024
Interview
First did a phone screen then followed up with 6-7 30min calls assessing technical ability and cultural fit.
Sadly was turned down at the last stage as I was judged over qualified for the job.
