Their Cincinnati division is now looking for an experienced Commercial Concrete Superintendent to join their self-perform operations team, covering Cincinnati and the surrounding region.

The Role
As a Concrete Superintendent within the self-perform operations team, you will lead field crews on large-scale commercial projects across the Cincinnati area and surrounding region. You will be responsible for safety, schedule, quality, and budget within your scope of work, reporting to a Project Superintendent or Project Executive.
This is a hands-on field leadership role. You will be expected to run a tight site, develop the people around you, and deliver results that reflect the standard this company is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct self-perform concrete crews and coordinate with subcontractors and trade labour
- Own the site safety programme — enforce standards and ensure full subcontractor compliance
- Develop and maintain project schedules; build and implement recovery strategies when needed
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work conforms to approved contract documents
- Manage billing processes including work-in-place estimates, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications
- Communicate directly with owners, architects, and engineers to resolve field issues professionally
- Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns within your team
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of superintendent-level experience in commercial concrete construction
- Strong self-perform concrete background — CIP, flatwork, elevated slabs, structural concrete, footings, and foundations
- Proven ability to manage, lead, and develop field teams
- OSHA 30 certified (required)
- Proficiency in scheduling, cost control, and construction documentation
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and construction software
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred — equivalent field experience considered
- Strong communication skills with owners, design teams, and subcontractors
- Must be legally authorised to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
