I have been working at HauteLook (More than a year)

    Pros

Cool Environment and you can work from home or in office. The office is awesome.

    Cons

Obvious favoritism, changes are talked about but take way too long to be implemented (if ever).

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your Cust Service Reps NEEDS. If they have been a great agent, listen to them if something in their home life has changed. Help them be better, don't shame them for having changes from when they first joined. Act like they matter.

    Pros

Everyone is nice and friendly and it's a safe work environment.

    Cons

Little help from anyone internally higher up to help advance career or even promote. No room to grow. All upper management is spread too thin to support their staff. No Nordstrom perks unless you get a Nordstrom credit card.

    Pros

Very professional, yet chill and fun work environment that will push you to learn new things. Which is great! The job is not so high stress either.

Pay isn't the best and your creativity can at times feel stifled. The job can feel monotonous and boring at times.

    Advice to Management

Pay your workers a bit more to mitigate quick turnovers.

    Pros

Benefits, LGBT friendly, steady work, community feel, management is pretty easy going, hours are good. Very open to people with less experience.

    Cons

Low pay, well below industry standards. Cliques, traffic into and out of Culver City can be a pain, parking sucks.

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees more.

    I worked at HauteLook full-time

    Pros

So desperate for talent that you can work on any project you want.

    Cons

Most of the software development team are random Infosys contractors. This caused a lot of rework, delays and frustration. The talent they do attract doesn’t last long.

    Advice to Management

Discount the cloths, not your people.
