I had a phone screen interview with a recruiter who asked general questions about my background. I advanced to a 45 minute call with the hiring manager who asked more in-depth questions about my experience, behavioral questions and why I wanted to work at Intuit. After that call I had no further contact for over 2 weeks and assumed I had been rejected. However, the recruiter called to schedule another phone interview with a potential co-worker and, if it went well, onsite interviews to follow. My 30 minute call had the most technical questions and allowed time for my questions re culture, day-to-day work, etc.
Recruiter told me folliwing morning that she would be in touch. This was the last I ever heard from Intuit. Essentially Intuit ghosted me. After a week of radio silence, I contacted recruiter via email and phone. No reply. I also reached out to hiring manager. No reply.
Never have I been treated so unprofessionally during a recruitment. Am shocked Intuit acted this way given their stellar reviews on glassdoor.
I do not know what happened and I guess I never will, but I caution folks to be weary of Intuit. If they treat candidates so unprofessionally how must they treat their actual employees. I spent time and energy in the recruitment. I was thrilled with job and prospect of working for Intuit. This experience, however, has left me feeling disrespected and filled with unresolved questions. Disappointing!
