      Senior Financial Analyst Interview

      Jul 23, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Intuit

      Interview

Very good interview overall. First round was telephonic. Once I was through HR called and scheduled further rounds. These guys are very prompt on timing. On the personal interviw HR sent me the names of the interviewers and the timing. In the interview they mainly look for process knowledge with some behavior questions. Questions like how did you resolve a conflict in office. What is that you liked most and disliked in your Job.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Intuit (Los Angeles, CA)

      Interview

The interview process would be 1) with the recruiter, 2) technical interview with the hiring manager, and 3) panel interview with mock presentation. Unfortunately, found the recruiter unprofessional. He told me I would be moving on to the next round with the hiring manager, but then never followed up. I suppose I wasn't chosen to continue - no hard feelings. Just wish they had been honest.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself. What technical skills do you have? Why are you looking for opportunities? Do you prefer remote, hybrid, in office?

      Senior Financial Analyst Interview

      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Feb 2018

      Interview

The interview process was very straight forward. Recruiter reached out to me the end of 2017 and scheduled me for a interview with the hiring manager, then a technical screening. I was asked to talk about my technical experience and provided with few SQL related questions. As it was the end of the year, the final round was scheduled in early 2018. I was provided with some data and asked to do a presentation before the interview. The final round took half day, which gave me a chance to talk to each interviewer. I was asked to present my background/work experience and the finding in the data during the first section of the final round. I got a update from the recruiter the second day after the final round and then a oral offer two days after the interview. The entire process was very efficient and effective. They did not ask brain teasers or general behavior questions. It was more like a conversation. And I had a good time talking to the team.
