I went into the store and asked if they were hiring and they were so I got an application. Turned it in the next day and one of the cashiers took it when she seen me walk in and told me the hiring managers name and said I can call tomorrow. Which I thought was weird because I know following up on an application is always good but I know you're supposed to wait about a week not the next day but whatever I did as she said, called and she said she hadn't looked at it yet which I wasn't surprised. Got a call a little over a week later for an interview. The lady who interviewed me was nice and got straight down to business. She read me questions off of a paper. I didn't remember all questions because it was a while ago but they were a good handful. The usual "why Marshall's" a few "tell me about a time when..." "what does customer service mean to you" I thought this interview went pretty good. Then she sent me off to another manager for another interview. This interview was a little dumb. I guess the first interview was more professional and this 2nd interview was more to get to know me and my personality and stuff but he was asking me random questions. He asked where I see myself in 2 years. Why should he pick me over somebody who has experience (because I had never had a job before) he asked where else I applied, if I've been interviewed before, where? What school I went to, what my gpa was. Idk I thought it was weird.

Cool process, nothing to worry about. Go in and be your best self. It was a fairly simple process more of a nice conversation, but still prepare I would say. Best tip I have is just have eye contact

Pretty short and straight to the point. Ask you basic scenarios, past work experiences, all that good stuff. They also ask technical questions like are you a us citizen and what not. But overall super easy.
