I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Ahmedabad) in Aug 2016
Interview
It took one complete day, starting from 75 minute written test conducted at college ..with only 1 aptitude questions in the entire 32 questions
Thr were 16 MCQ and 16 Subjective questions. Followed by interview of 8 shortlisted candidates. Thr was no separate Hr and Tech...Main focus of interview was on written only
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basics of Opamps
Digtial Circuits
1 easy question on timing
some variation on networks concepts
Questions on digital circuits were challenging. 1 was on ADC-DAC, few on counters
I applied online. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Two hour-long interviews. Both follow the same format: no behavioral questions just technical. Interviewers looked at my resume and asked me to describe a technical project. In the second round, interviewer also drew a circuit and gave a problem to solve. Very fair and doable if you revise analog circuitry content.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is a diode? What are the gates of a transistor? Calculate the current going through this resistor (circuit had a transistor and op-amp).
Phone interview with HR first, received some more details about this role. Moved to the next phase which was an online test. Unfortunately, stopped at this stage, didn't go further.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Taipei) in Mar 2024
Interview
It was a System Design Engineer Interview for the Signal Integrity and Power Integrity role. Questions were from CMOS Circuit design, RLC Circuit design, nmos filter questions, PCB design techniques-size, microvias design question for 80 ohm impedance of PCB
Interview questions [7]
Question 1
Explain in detail NRZ and PAM4 encoding techniques.
