I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at State Street in Jan 2015
Interview
Applied through my college job board, and was then soon asked to schedule a phone interview. Phone interview took about 30 minutes with mostly behavioral questions. Was then contacted to schedule an interview on their campus. I was interviewed by two employees within the group I would be working with if hired. They provide a designated day in which they send out notices of employment.

I applied online. I interviewed at State Street in Jan 2026
Interview
The process was fairly smooth. I was first reached out through a phone call through HR, who asked simple screening questions, such as whether I was still interested in the opportunity, my availability, etc. After that initial call, it took around a week for them to invite me for an interview. The interview was laid back as it was conversational with no technical questions asked. They just want to get to know you--what you do in school, outside of school, hobbies, and interest. Two back to back interviews with senior managers with of the firm. Be sure to come prepared with a lot of questions about State Street and why this field/position.
