Texas Instruments Analog Layout Engineer interview questions

The recruitment drive had 2 stages. 1. Online Assessment Test 2. Technical Interview 1. Online Test Duration : 2 parts; 45 mins each. There were two parts in the test. Each part had 20 questions for 45 minutes. The first part consisted of technical questions and the second part consisted of Aptitude and Reasoning. Focus Areas for Technical Part - Electrical Circuits and Measurements, Basic Circuits, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Basic Electronics. Focus Areas for Aptitude and Reasoning - Probability, Comprehension, Critical thinking, Time and Speed Problems etc. The questions were of medium difficulty. Each right answer was worth 4 marks and there was NEGATIVE MARKING (of 1 mark for every wrong answer) too. 2. Technical Interview Duration : 30+ minutes. The technical interview lasted for about 30+ minutes. They started by asking about my projects. There were two interviewers on the panel. They started off with my introduction and my projects. They asked about the purpose and motive of the projects. Then, they started with the technical questions.
