I worked at Collabera full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary, Paid time off, 401K benefits.

Management slow response to consultants. Too much time taken for sharing the experience letter. No increments. No initiation of green card process.

    Advice to Management

Try to pay interest to the existing consultants not only focusing on new consultants.

    Pros

Super awesome office culture; management really cares and is there to help you succeed, while at the same time allowing for independence as well. Environment is young and fun and is a great place to start your career out of school or if you are already in staffing and want to continue to pursue it. If you are a hard worker there is really no reason why you can't succeed here!! Also provides great training and tools to improve/gain new skill-sets.

    Cons

If you work hard/stay focused and want to achieve great things the opportunity is there!

    Pros

Young company with good potential. Your success is up to your work ethic and passion for the job. Work hard and you WILL make money. If you don't, results will show.

    Cons

You can not do this job mediocre or have a day off mentally - it will affect your success.

    Advice to Management

Allow managers to continue to run with accounts as if it is their OWN business.

I have been working at Collabera full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Large footprint; Collabera has contract IT positions in many States and Cities, and works with large IT employers. Personally, I have had to move a couple of times due to personal reasons and Collabera was able to find opportunities in three major cities in six years. When they get great feedback about their contractors from their clients, they VALUE you as an employee and are very supportive and flexible. They pay market rates for contract assignments, provide good quality insurance, 401K and Health Savings Accounts. They will typically not give you raises unless you ask for them or you work for another Client -- but when asked they do negotiate and we have reached win-win outcomes. If you work hard to make them look good, they will do the same while representing you. Their HR and Benefits teams are very good at communicating and have worked out a few problems I encountered quickly.

    Cons

You must manage your own career within Collabera; they will leave you permanently at a post as long as you or their Client are willing to keep you in the same place. If you are proactive about progressing in your career challenges and assuming greater responsibilities you'll need to work with your Collabera team to get their support -- they typically have a more narrow 'Contact Length' view of your engagement with their Clients.
