    Pros

Basic benefit. Education allowance and online training using company Intranet.

    Cons

Raises totally forgotten. No annual review of your work performance.

    Advice to Management

Spread the love ($$$) outside of the corporate office with Contract Associates out in the field.

    I worked at Excell full-time

    Pros

Benefits kick in on day 1

    Cons

Sales has had a lot of turnover due to management playing favoritism.
Company isn't loyal to their employees.
Doesn't address personnel issues and instead turns their back

    Advice to Management

    Do your job
Listen to your clients and your employees
Review your exit interviews and make changes instead of turning your backs

    Pros

    Company phone/ truck/ fuel card

    Cons

Excell Refrigeration of Florida & South Carolina:Loose 1 hour of pay per day for drive time=6 weeks of 40 hour pay- that's in both Florida and the South Carolina divisions-plus in Florida- you loose a half hour a day for lunch= another 3 weeks of pay a year- then when you get off on a holiday you have to make up that 8 hours- another weeks pay-- total- up to 10 weeks of lost pay a year. Insurance coverage sucks. Your on call constantly- no family life- it's all about the company- they don't respect their employees. They even call you when your scheduled off or out sick to solve their paperwork problems. Even if you have been out all night on call and give advance notice that you are coming in late they still call and wake you up. The technicians in Florida have good reason to leave- no support from Mgt at all and according to the South Carolina division those technicians are working shot handed- 2/3 technicians covering 18 Publix stores.

    Advice to Management

Take your own advise- adhere to the Excell way instead of just saying it- the technicians and construction workers is what keeps this company afloat not your inadequate management skills. No wonder your employees are unhappy and quitting everyday. The employees have every reason for searching for new employment.

    Pros

Colleagues are wonderful to work with. Management is overall friendly yet effective and efficient. Company is full of integrity and professionalism as well as fun and lighthearted.

    Cons

Compensation and benefits could improve a little more, but it is understandable as a business needs profit.

I have been working at Excell (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Solid recruiting and sales team. Work-life balance, Day 1 benefits for all employees including contractors. No micro managing, as you are treated as a partner and not just a number. What is more important to you the total package which includes a fair comp, above market benefits which includes costs that do not break your wallet and a place where it is not just a "JOB". That is what I hear everyone wants, is a place to hang their hat and enjoy their job, plus be able to make a great living. You cannot make everyone happy, but comes pretty close here at eXcell!

    Cons

We can always ask for lower health costs, but their are rising in every company.

I have been working at Excell full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

eXcell has a management team that has a deep understanding of business need and employee retention and satisfaction. This is a delicate balance when you are working in a people to people business. Not everyone is going to be satisfied but they are fair and diligent. The work life balance is exceptional but only as long as they know the business is taken care of. Which really makes me want to work harder to succeed for them. It is nice to want to make your management team happy because they reciprocate the gesture.

    Cons

Because we are a large company with lots of over head, the rates could be better but because benefits are offered to all full time employees and contractors it does balance out. There aren't alot of contracting firms that offer benefits for all roles and are competitive with them.

    Advice to Management

I aspire to move up and hope the mentality stays the same when I grow within the company.
