I have been working at Highspot full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Highspot's founders made a very strategic and early commitment to their product vision. A commitment that, in the early days, often resulted in longer waits for releases while they refused to cut corners in laying the foundation for a years-out vision - all the while competitors grew their product and market share through acquisition and quick-twitch, reactive product development. Fast-forward through a few years of rapid growth and impressive rounds of funding, Highspot's commitment to investing in its vision and building a top-notch product is paying off big. Highspot has delivered the only unified, natively built Sales Enablement platform on the market. Top-rated for ease of use, customer adoption, and innovation, Highspot has earned the love of a rapidly growing list of strategic and enterprise customers and leading VC firms who most recently funded an ample series E round accompanied by a top-tier $2B+ evaluation. With a platform that was natively and strategically built from the ground up and Product and GTM teams only limited by a commitment to top-quality talent and onboarding–Highspot is uniquely positioned to continue to outpace the market in innovation and growth. Highspot has an undoubtedly bright future - we all feel lucky to be along for the ride!

    Cons

With most people working remotely and the rapid rate of growth, it can be difficult to build helpful cross-functional relationships with people beyond those you already work with. Highspot also has the best barista and snack bar which have been dearly missed while working from home.

I have been working at Highspot full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Highspot goes out of their way to hire good people. The people here are smart, driven, open, and eager to work collectively. - Company culture is really healthy. - Fast growing, exciting company. - They provide a ton of opportunities to grow and move around internally. They often favor internal promotions over external hires. - Opportunities to work on "crews" with projects outside of your job description. (E.g. get some product management experience by working closely with that team) - Leadership is very involved and approachable. - Pay and benefits seem pretty great to me. - Wellness coaching, financial and legal advice, happy hours... all sorts of stuff. They take care of us.

    Cons

    - Not as diverse as it could be (like most tech) but they are really working on it. - Not much else, in my opinion.

I have been working at Highspot full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Highspot is a diamond of a company that few are lucky to find in their career! The executive team is top-notch and always keeps employee's interests as well as happiness top of mind, especially during a pandemic and the climate that was 2020. People often say how special the culture is, which really comes down to the amazing people that are hired and brought in. Not to mention the product is second to none and is a industry-leading platform that is dramatically impacting sellers and revenue teams. They have made a HUGE investment this year in terms of culture, diversity, and ensuring that everyone's voice is heard and actively making changes to make that happen. It's been a gratifying experience watching the company grow and scale and I hope to continue watching Highspot flourish for many many more years.

    Cons

Rapid scale brings a bag of challenges, as we continue to grow I hope to see more women in leadership and executive positions

    Pros

-Promising, high growth start-up, with a great product -Fun, smart, and outgoing coworkers -Worklife balance -Fancy new office -C Level leadership is transparent -Decent pay

    Cons

-Lack of experience for lower-level management - some individuals in account development leadership positions have no experience outside of Highspot, and often times have very little tenure within account development. On many occasions, their direct reports have much more experience in the role. -Career development - Account Development Leadership team shows many biases for certain individuals to get promoted and others to not. -Nepotism -Extremely image-driven -No consideration of tenure -Turnover in ADR department

I worked at Highspot full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fun company, growing team and product Decent pay for an entry level role

    Cons

I was at Highspot for a year and a half... and it was interesting that the only time they started to implement and enforce Performance Plans, was when COVID hit. I think that was their way of letting people go, but blaming it on something else Managers reward favorites with good accounts to help people get their numbers up and get promoted, if you're not a favorite you won't get anywhere. On the sales team - 90% of the accounts you are working have been worked 30 days before, so it is hard and you are often pestering people.
