I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Google in Jan 2008
Interview
Overall positive. The recruiter contacted me then put me up for a job that did not match my skills (never programmed in Java). Lasted 45 minutes, and the interviewer was very professional. Unfortunately it was a bad match.
I also think their internal recruiting process is not very organized. The recruiter could not tell me how she found my info. And I believe the interviewer had the impression that I somehow applied for that specific job.
