Google Manager, Technical Writing interview questions

Position was put on hold indefinitely after I successfully completed all rounds - multiple in-person and online rounds - for the role of Technical Writing Manager. I was reached out by the HR in Oct 2021, completed the various rounds between Oct-Nov 2021, for a position initially opened in Bangalore. After that, I was told by the HR that while the final round was suucessful and they will now find a team fitment for me, I was suddenly told on a call and on email about the position indefinitely going on hold and that they would connect again if anything opens up! Highly unprofessional. The HR in question also exited Google midway, transferring me to their peer, who barring a cursory email in Mar 2022, did not provide any further updates, essentially ghosting me as a candidate after I'd completed all rounds successfully. This is all present on my email. A very bad unprofessional experience with Google. Position on hold after candidate clears ALL rounds successfully and is on the verge of a final salary negotiation.
