I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson
Interview
I had multiple phone interviews and on site interviews. I thought the work culture was very good. The interviews were well organized but were day long. People treated me very well.
I applied online. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson (Irvine, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
Internal Candidate: Biosense Webster Interview.
Digital Interview with automated system with typical HR questions and few technical questions. Felt weird interviewing into a webcam
Phone screen with hiring manager (1 hour)
Multiple 1:1 Interview with the team. Very technical questions throughout, very little fit or behavioral questions.
Got rejected via ghosted. I was an internal candidate too! You think they treat their internal candidates with a little more respect.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience.
Very technical questions that caught me by surprise. Some fundamental engineering questions I haven't done since college. Design Questions as well.

Interview
Initial phone screening with a recruiter. As a college student, I was likely underqualified for the staff-level position, but the recruiter made it a good experience. He ran through a list of questions to gauge my experience and at the end let me know that I'd be unlikely to move forward for this position, but was happy to keep me in mind for other entry-level positions. Overall a good experience thanks to a friendly & engaging recruiter.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Process took about 2 months in all. Started with phone screens with contracted HR. First two phone screens were not technical, more about past experience. On the on site visit, I met with the operations manager, engineering manager, and was scheduled to meet with another engineering manager.
