I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Topeka, KS) in Jun 2011
Interview
I applied online and was contacted for a 1:1 interview within a week. I met with a woman, who asked very basic interview questions. We talked about my availability and expected pay. She then basically offered me the job seeing that I pass a drug test.
I wasn't really interviewed. They basically hired me on the spot. The manger was super busy with the store and didn't pay any attention to me. All I did was give them my availability and then they called me the next day for orientation hours.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger (Houston, TX) in Nov 2018
Interview
I did my application online. A couple days after I applied I got called for a quick phone interview. It was mostly just scenario questions. If they like your answers, they schedule you for a in person interview which only takes about 15 minutes. They hired me right after. I did not have to wait for a call back or anything.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Macedonia, Cherokee, GA) in Sep 2018
Interview
I applied online and received a email about a immediate position for a front end clerk starbucks position.I had a phone interview with a kroger associate explaining the position and the likely hours I would have . She asked me a few questions and happily told me a HR would reach out to me as soon as possible.
Very unorganized and unprofessional store. Had to wait forty minutes-a hour for my interview... another employee ( who wasn't helping with my interview ) approached me and asked me what position I was being interviewed for then proceeded to gossip about me to some other employees while I waited. The hiring manager "wasn't there " neither was the starbucks department manager. Was told it was possible I would be a bagger and not a starbucks team member but regardless I'd start training after my background check came threw. Get my checking account information ready . I said no problem I'll do any job you have for me. After my interview I was gave the run around for 3 weeks with different excuses on why I wasn't coming in for my training. Finally resulting in the hiring manager ( found out thats who I was talking with the whole time) "being sick" and never in. After this time I already had another part time job. When I informed them about my availability change they stopped calling me back.
The interview was okay other than he lying and game playing , they asked me what I was "into " ( like hobbies and personality wise I suppose )....
