Interview

I had one phone interview, and I was hired. It was the typical Java interview questions, basically. Geared towards fresh graduates.

  • There was a question about the garbage collector in java, wasn't completely sure of the answer.   Answer Question

Negotiation

I was initially offered something very low like 40k, then negotiated to 50k. I just wanted to get my foot in the door.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at CSC (Chennai (India)) in August 2015.

    Interview

    I got an email that I have been selected for the interview. I went onsite and the first round was an aptitude test. The 2nd round was a technical interview with writing code to test the coding skills and a few verbal questions. The 3rd round was with the HR. HR asked some general questions and discussed pay.
