I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Comcast (Sunnyvale, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
Everything went well with the interview team all the way up the management chain. I was very well qualified for the job. The hiring manager wanted to offer me the job, but HR rejected me on the basis of experience level (which is bogus in my opinion, 35 years in the tech industry). Apparently the real issue was my current earnings and the low pay scale they have compared to Silicon Valley. Very disappointed.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Comcast (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2019
Interview
There was a typical phone screen with in person loops. The interview itself was included a couple of 1:1 and at least one interview that had two interviewers present. I didn't think some of the interviewers had a lot of interview experience.
