I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Hamden, CT) in Feb 2013
Interview
applied online, had telephone interview, then called in for an in-person interview, basic questions, very easy and friendly. basic questions such as "tell me about yourself," "Why did you choose to work for Macy's?" and "What do you consider your weakness/strengths"
Pretty simple it wasn’t to difficult at all actually, more of behavioral type of interview. Should be easy if you are a decent communicator and a good team worker. there is an emphasis on collaboration
Interview was easy, it was a one and done deal and the interview was relatively short. I just applied on their website and I was called in for an interview. I was asked standard interview questions and was let know that I was hired within a reasonable time (about a week).
