Interview
I applied for the position through Career Services at my university and got the interview about a week later. The interview was 2 weeks after I was initially contacted by the campus recruiter and I had a 1 on 1 interview on campus. The interview was not a behavioral interview, it was more like problem-solving questions.

Question 1
Pretend you are a consultant for MicroStrategy and you need to help a client distribute $100,000 worth of water to people in a specific city. What would you say?
Let’s say that you have 25 horses, and you want to pick the fastest 3 horses out of those 25. In each race, only 5 horses can run at the same time because there are only 5 tracks. What is the minimum number of races required to find the 3 fastest horses without using a stopwatch?
You have two buckets. One holds exactly five gallons and the other three gallons. How can you measure exactly four gallons of water into the five gallon bucket?
Assume you have an unlimited supply of water and that there are no measurement markings of any kind on the buckets.
