I filled out the application in store, and later scheduled an interview with the hiring manager. He spoke to me about my skills and interests, told me there was an opening in the deli and asked if I would be able to work that department. He mentioned that the deli is the hardest department but that it was the only thing currently available. He was friendly and polite, I followed suit and was offered a job a few days later.
