Ulta Beauty Interview Questions

We all sat down with a manager for a group interview. They asked us a question and we took turns answering the question. It wasn't a long interview, it was quick.

Very professional and open and honest felt like girlfriends talking. Really explained the role and company values, listen to my questions and had answers ready to talk over, over all great connection

This process was too drawn out. All the interviews were easy, but a phone screen plus 4 interviews was too much. Then, I was asked for 2 references which I provided right away. I assumed I was a final candidate because I was asked for references after all of the interviews. My references were never contacted!! I was told theyd be contacted within the week, but they weren’t. Then I got a generic rejection. This process was frustrating all-around.

Phone screen with HR rep, then individual interviews with about 4 people (Engineers, Director). They tell you they are impressed with your background, how your skills align with the role, and how user water they are, then they ghost you.

The interview was okay. The manager didn’t seem prepared. She forgot that I was scheduled for an interview. Other than that the atmosphere was friendly but the follow up scheduling wasn’t very clear.

Well, it was a group interview. We were like 10 people at the little room. The manager started to ask questions about our previous experiences and how do we overcome any challenging moment.

Interviewed in person with 5 other prospective employees. They asked the entire group questions and everyone had a chance to respond in a random order. Then they showed us a couple things in the storage area and office.

Interview process is normally a group interview between you and about 4 other girls, go to the interview dressed for the role and make sure you’re prepared, a lot of questions is asked. The process was fast for me I got a call back within the same week.
