Depending on the store you interview at, more than likely you will be intimidated by some over payed store manager. I worked for Walmart for 5 years, while completing my degree and was told the intire time upon completion of my degree I would get into the program. I had 6 interviews and didnt receive one offer. It was all because either they are forced to follow Affirmative Action plans, and choode a minority over me OR a veteran employee who has spent years as a dept, manager or ZS. It is obvious that walmart decides upon salaried promotions when looking at trainee classes. The last one I saw there was only 2 white males out of a class of 20 indiviuals.
The interview was similiar to the hourly interviews... questions on how you supervise merchandising op's/how you promote change/how you uphold the highest standard of integrity/ethics... ect
In my final interview the 3 store managers who interviewed me were all on the cell phones during the interview. This was disrespectful and unprofesional.
