I have been working at RGP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible PTO schedule, friendly environment, great people to work with. If you enough fast pace, this is place for you

    Cons

Compensation, lack of growth opportunity. There is a perception that operations are viewed as not part of the team (ex. Aren't invited to company events while all other are).

    Advice to Management

Promote from within for operation roles, reward hard / good work with financial insentives

I worked at RGP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Everyone on the delivery team is very professional and many have hands on subject matter expertise.

    Cons

While often professing to be a solution based provider, the reality is high end staffing.

    Advice to Management

Hire Practice Leaders that can manage their utilization to help in the sales and solutions process and also be billable - in order to differentiate from the body shops and become more strategic.

    Cons

    - says they don't push sales, but they really push sales...hard
    - high turnover rate

    Advice to Management

Focus on doing things to keep your people. There are lots of reason we leave.

I have been working at RGP full-time

    Pros

Can learn a lot because you get work other than what's in your job description

    Cons

Very political company. No employee appreciation and respect. No employee salary increases for 6 years now. You can only get increase through promotion, but you have to wait at least 5 years to get promotion. Management LIES all the time to get you to work more for free.

    Advice to Management

    Stop making false promises.

I have been working at RGP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fair management and a great place to learn and go if you have the drive. Most people will take the time to answer your questions if they have a minute. Bonuses are team/office based meaning your contribution to the whole is more important than a personal one.

    Cons

Intense sales atmosphere can be intimidating to some, some managers can be direct to a fault, but it's not common. Change of title and promotions can be incredibly slow.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to promote growth within the firm by creating training for Client Service and Recruiting that has some sort of actual structure to it.
