I worked at RGP full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Interesting assignments, flexible work hours, supportive local leaders. The team I worked with was first rate and my experience in the AZ market was outstanding.

    Cons

None that I have experienced. However, I do think the consistency between RGP markets varies more than it should at both the leadership and consultant levels.

    Advice to Management

RGP has a lot of opportunity to grow its business and could be a name brand in Corporate America. Make strategic investments in marketing, recruiting, client development and support teams. Shareholders will reward those investments in the long run. Build the brand - they will come!

I have been working at RGP full-time

    Pros

I'm super excited to be apart of the rebuild in Columbus, OH. Management is open in communication, very experienced in their field, understands what is important to me, and carving out more ownership of the local market.

    Cons

This is tough to answer. Overall, a good experience if one wants to be apart of a growing business, with a quality brand and expertise. Thankfully, leadership is transparent around how busy they can keep you. They don't sell you. They are realistic, and promote an open door policy.

I worked at RGP full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

The commission/bonus driven compensation plans will soon catch up to the new 'culture transformation.' Will soon resemble life at (a smaller) Robert Half. Some of the old guard - hard working people with compassion and common sense - are sticking around though you'll hardly see them or hear a peep out of them because they are keeping their heads down hoping the reorg-storm blows over. If you like an office full of...

    Cons

ReOrg put novice managers into leadership positions in droves- before they were ready. As a result, there is lots of turnover and a management-by-fear mentality that has sucked the life, civility and potential out of the place.

    Advice to Management

Go back to hiring/promoting talented managers with operations, people management, and common sense skills.

The only reason we've been able to keep up the good work is because of the incredible team members that make up our organization. So thank you for being Sleeves Up with us--we couldn't do it without you!
