    Cons

We had long work hours that was steady. The work days would be everyday without a break in time. Sometimes the shift would be late night and then the next day early morning.

I worked at Universal Protection Service full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great job as long as you are male and have a perfect credit score.

    Cons

This company really has no use for anyone that doesn't have a perfect credit rating. And they will make your work schedule so hard on you that you eventually resigned (as I did). There were days I would work anywhere from 8 hours to 17 hours for little pay. And God forbid you should be a woman in a management position! You get less than 20 hours job training for a supervisors job and if you mess up 1 time they will lead you to believe all is well then when you least expect it they will send a man to your site and tell you your training him for a directors position at another site. Once he is trained they will move him into your position and make the job and your hours so hard on you that you resigned. I would avoid this job at all costs if you are a woman!

    Advice to Management

Treat your female employees just as well as you do the male employees. And realize that not everyone has a perfect credit score. Your employees are human beings, treat them as such.

I have been working at Universal Protection Service full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good company to work for.

    Cons

Supervisors need to be paid more than the guards at least $3 more. Need more officers trained up for call outs

    Advice to Management

Management needs to pay the guard's more. they also need to have floaters for call outs. Supervisors need to be paid a higher wage than security officers are. Not $0.50 or a dollar

    Pros

Flexible hours, numerous work sites available

    Cons

low pay, very difficult to get a hold of operation managers or anybody in the filed officers, promise full time but make you work part-time or as little as 20 hours per week. A lot of favoritism in work sites

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they're worth and eliminate the favorite playing in work sites, also make your employees a priority, it doesn't take long to return a call or an email
