I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2018
Interview
Applied via referral by AWS employee. Was contacted by recruiter within one week for an informational interview. Had two screening calls, one with a hiring manager, and few days later another one with one of the future peers. Then was invited for an on-site loop: 6 interviews back-co-back (45 minutes), one of which was over lunch (1 hour). The experience was intense but exciting, open ended questions, with each interviewer having a preassigned focus area on functional competencies of the role and the Amazon leadership principles. Make sure to study those principles and think ahead which examples you would give.
