I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dubai) in Oct 2020
Interview
Amazon interview had 5 rounds. 4 discussions mostly 1-1 and then an aptitude test with excel skills. The excel sheet that was given must be from the 90's as it looked so old and outdated. No proper instructions were given before the assessment happened.
Also when all rounds were completed with all discussions going so positive, end of it my application got declined without sharing any reasons at all. They claim its their company policy to not share any feedback with the interviewee.
They must have respected the time and effort one puts in to attend their interviews by sharing atleast a basic feedback for rejections.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly situational questions. I felt that the interviewers had a pool of questions from which they picked up questions of their choice. At one instance I had to point out to an interviewer that the question she picked was already asked by the previous guy who interviewed me.
Ex: What was the most difficult situation with your client and how did you manage it?
Versant was the first round, from what I remember. Then it was a face to face round of interview with a senior manager. He asked about previous retail experiences, questions about how to keep a customer happy and retian the customer.
