1. Apply online
2. Receive call to set up phone interview
3. Wait for email asking you to come to their location for the major interview after being initially accepted as a potentially viable candidate.
4. Work out the travel and expense arrangements with HR and plan to arrive the night before so you're well rested.
5. Final interview which requires an entire day for the most part. There are at least 5 or 6 Amazonions who will spend one hour each asking you everything they possibly can to see what you're made of. Plan on both an academic review of your craft along with a "pseudo psychiatric" work-up to see who you "can" be if you're sitting alongside them in a situation of turmoil, etc..
In this particular profession it's all about your arsenal of cool tips and tricks when beyond the basics which are understood. If I could give you an important piece of advice, it would be simply that these people are not the most imaginative and appeared to be in the usual corporate box where being creative would land one in a heap.
My only real negative feelings were mainly based on the fact that most of the people I interacted with had superior attitudes from what I witnessed.
So, good luck and hope you don'thavd to waste almost two weeks of being on the edge---they're more than likely not worth it...
