You are recruited to have an interview with the Assn. Store Manager and they are usually pretty laid back and make you comfortable with the process. Usually they have a one on one basis method for the first interview and if you qualify, after a few days they offer you the job and must pass the background check and drug test in order to get employed.

Asked what I knew about the company. Interviewer was impressed I knew the founder and when it was founded. The interview was very easy and no prior work experience was needed.
Really was easy. Basically the only question asked was why I wanted to work there. I basically just said because I’ve always enjoyed going to Publix growing up and seeing all the employees with a smile made me know it was a good place to work.
