Video interview through Hire Vue and then a phone call conversation with HR. Not difficult at all. Then they offer based on if they liked your interview and skill set.

Only did 1 video interview before I was hired. For the video interview I would receive a prompt and was given one minute to think about how I would respond, then given a two minute response time. For each prompt I was given two chances to record my answer.

Phone Interview and offer! All of this within a course of 5 days...the phone interview went very well. The HR representative was very informative and easy to speak with.

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2019
It was good. I looked up possible questions ahead of time. The interview itself over the phone. It was an hour. The person who interviewed me was very pleasant. Before the phone interview they sent an email asking me to select available dates and times that we're convenient for me. The Overall experience for me since I haven't worked in a office setting in sometime was refreshing.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm in Nov 2018
For those of you looking for information about the process I can tell you it can be an easy process but it does involve patience. I applied on 11/6 online by a referral from a family member, on 11/8 received an email stating " Congratulations on successfully completing State Farm pre-employment assessment(s). Your results allow us to consider you further for the Claim Associate-Express position". Please note that I had already completed the pre-employment assessment within the last 12 months. On 11/13 I received an a time sensitive email requesting me to provide times I would be available for a phone interview. I provided about five different dates and times that fit my schedule. On 11/14 I was sent a confirmation email with my phone interview time. Had my phone interview with the recruiter. Pretty basic questions, STAR format, and she also went over the position as well as gave an opportunity to ask any questions you may have had. At the end of the call I was offered the position. No role play. I will say this, I have a couple of family members that have worked for state farm and not to say that its impossible to get hired on with State Farm but having someone you know refer you to a position really does help as it codes your application differently. Good luck and execute some patience.
- STAR format. How does your current role provide transferable skills that would allow you to be successful?

I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Tempe, AZ) in Oct 2018
There was a phone interview followed by an in person interview. Several prospectives met at the Tempe campus for the in person interview and were provided with information about the job and then introduced themselves to the group. Afterward, each person was called for a 1 on 1 interview.
- What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Anonymous Employee in Atlanta, GA
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2018
The interview process was fairly simple. I received an email to do an assessment and then I received another email stating that I passed the assessment. A recruiter emailed me and I selected a day and time for my phone interview. The asked behavioral questions and questions about my background. The recruiter went over dress code, shift bidding, training, and a bunch of other information. The asked me about company history but I did not research it. I suggest you look into that and know it for your interview.
